Let me state a universal truth, one which does not need any qualifying remarks and is as true as the fact that the earth revolves around the sun; everyone is interested in psychic phenomena. You might be a believer and might be spending all your free time at consultations with mediums, or you may be an irascible cynic who scoffs at them; the fact remains that there’s no one in this world who is disinterested or uninterested in such things.

So let us talk a bit more about psychic phenomena and specifically psychics. The word psychic is derived from the Greek word psychikos meaning ‘of the mind’. A psychic phenomenon is an event or an instance where the experience was of a type that could not be explained by the defined rules of the existing sciences. A psychic refers to a person or their ability to perceive things or experiences that are hidden from the normal senses. This means that one cannot perceive these things with the help of our primary senses: sight, smell, taste, touch and sound.

Psychics have had a hold over popular imagination since time immemorial. They used to come in the garb of seers and prophets in the past. Aegus of Athens, Michel de Nostredame, and the most famous one, the Oracle at Delphi are all cases in point. The most widely-known system of fortune-telling at this time was astrology. There were also some seers who could have direct apprehensions of (or ‘look into’) the future. Over the years the role of the psychic and their position in the society has changed. Science today doesn’t dismiss the reports of psychic phenomena offhand anymore. In fact it is being called a pseudo-science now!

Amira Celon is a well-known and accomplished psychic based in Sydney. She is a natural clairvoyant and can provide you with a psychic life reading. You can also get phone and email readings from Amira. To know more about Amira and how she can help you overcome the problems in your life, please visit www.psychicamira.com.
