Hypnosis has been used throughout history for both the treatment of physical and mental ailments as well as achieving social influence. With the advent of neurology and audio technology it is now possible for people to reap the benefits of hypnosis themselves without a hypnotist or other third party. Audio technology is utilized with brainwave entrainment through binaural beats to achieve hypnotic, altered states of consciousness quickly and easily, generally in 5-10 minutes. This means that one can achieve any hypnotic, altered state desired and achieve states such as meditation, relaxation, sleep, focus and concentration as well as altered states of consciousness that allow one to perform ESP, telepathy, remote viewing and past life regression with near to no effort and time. There are even binaural beats available to help individuals quit smoking, lose weight, gain confidence and improve health and healing… all achievable with no prior experience with hypnosis and meditation.

In past history it took years of dedication and practice with meditation to achieve hypnotic states and such elite feats of mind as ESP, telepathy and enhanced regenerative healing. However with brainwave entrainment any individual can simply sit back, put on headphones, relax and achieve these very same states in only minutes. This is because brainwave entrainment works directly on the brain to alter brainwave frequencies that are responsible for hypnotic, altered states of consciousness.

Brainwave entrainment works through playing two separate frequencies through stereo headphones to the left and right ears respectively. The brain upon hearing these two frequencies will produce a third frequency, called the binaural beat, which is the difference between the two frequencies being played. This binaural beat frequency can match any brainwave frequency including the brainwave frequencies that match up with altered states of consciousness such as meditation, relaxation and sleep, just to name a few. Because binaural beat audio technology works directly upon the brain in altering brainwaves, altered states of consciousness can be achieved very quickly and easily, generally in 5-10 minutes.

Brainwave entrainment and binaural beats are the most effective way to achieve self-hypnosis as it requires no prior experience with hypnosis or meditation and can achieve hypnotic states in just minutes. There are however other methods other than audio technology for achieving self-hypnosis. One method is autosuggestion. Autosuggestion utilizes meditation and visualization to put the mind into a hypnotic trance through one’s self imaging walking down steps or repeating a mantra. Self-hypnosis can also be achieved through walking hypnosis which is achieved through repeating a repetitive task. The repetition utilized in walking hypnosis will make the brain “bored”, at which point the mind will “day dream” or “zone out” and enter an altered state of consciousness. An example of walking hypnosis would be the tendency to daydream and zone out during boring lectures presented by monotone professors. The repetitive, monotonous tone of the professors voice would lull the mind into a trance-like, hypnotic state.

If you are interested in using self-hypnosis to achieve altered states of consciousness such as relaxation, sleep, meditation, ESP, telepathy, remote viewing, past life regression or if you want to improve your life by losing weight, increasing learning, memory, confidence, self-esteem, focus, concentration and overall health, longevity and energy then brainwave entrainment may be something you want to test out. Click Here to read reviews of the top brainwave entrainment and hypnosis product reviews and try out free sample binaural beat audio for relaxation and meditation.

As a family-law attorney for over 35 years, I can tell you that the secret to a successful divorce is to minimize your involvement with the legal system and to avoid using lawyers who work in it. Where one spouse is a controller abuser — 5 to 10 percent of all cases — this advice does not apply, but for everyone else, going to an attorney as your first step is the worst thing you can possibly do and court is the worst possible place to settle divorce disagreements.

    Here’s why.

To get a divorce, you need to tell the court how you will divide marital property and whether there will be spousal support. If you have minor children, you must also tell the court how they will be supported and parented after the divorce — the visitation schedule. That’s all a divorce is about.

If you can be sure your spouse will not come to court to oppose you on any of these matters, all that’s left is some paperwork to get your judgment (decree in some states). This can be done inexpensively in California or Texas by using Nolo’s “How to Do Your Own Divorce” kit. In other states, you can get it done for a few hundred dollars by using a divorce typing service or by shopping your easy case around to various attorneys until someone gives you a fair price.

If your spouse is in the picture and cares about the terms, then you need to work out a written agreement on property, parenting and support. There is software to make this easy for you. Once you have an agreement, finishing your case is now just a matter of paperwork and can be done for a few hundred dollars as described above.

Inability to agree is almost never about the law, almost always about personalities and emotional upset. If you can’t agree, you don’t need a lawyer; you need a mediator or a collaborative law attorney. If you still can’t agree, you don’t need a lawyer, you need an arbitrator.

There are absolutely no solutions for personal problems in a lawyer’s office or in a courtroom. In fact, the legal system is almost certain to make things worse. This is because our adversarial legal system is based on argument and conflict, where one side argues, fights, and struggles to win, to beat the other side. This is a terrible way to settle family disputes. It increases conflict and expense, greatly increases the time it will take you to rebalance your life, and reduces chances for cooperative parenting.

Before you retain an attorney to represent you, remember this simple equation: “The more trouble you have = the more money your attorney makes.” This is not a good basis for a smooth, successful negotiation.

Many attorneys become so frustrated with the legal system that they leave litigation behind in favor of more constructive forms of practice, such as mediation and collaborative law. These are both discussed below.

    Better alternatives

Self-help. The things you can do to help yourself are far superior to anything an attorney can do for you. Specific steps you should take depend on your situation and are discussed in detail in my book, Make Any Divorce Better. If you follow my advice, things will get better soon.

Get organized. Before you can get advice, work out an agreement, or decide what you want and what is fair, you need to organize the facts and documents in your case. You will need to do this sooner or later no matter what, so why not do it yourself for free instead of paying a professional hundreds of dollars an hour to help you do it? Inexpensive worksheets are available to help you make this task easy. Doing this work won’t take long and it will help you understand your case, clarify your thinking, and make clear what questions you want to ask of an attorney, if you decide to see one.

Get advice. After you’re organized, if you have questions about the law in your state you should seek advice from an attorney who mostly does family law mediation, very little or no litigation. This way, you are more likely to get neutral, useful advice that will lead to solutions rather than court. Be sure to ask if the laws of your state are such that you can predict what any judge will order based on the facts and issues in your case. In most states, the outcome of any case is highly unpredictable, which is one of the reasons that a settlement by the parties is far superior to taking a chance on what some judge might decide, a stranger who does not have more than a few minutes to try to understand your family and the facts of your case.

Get help. If you and your spouse can’t work out a written settlement agreement on your own, you have two good alternatives.

Mediation. If both sides agree, you sit down with a mediator who will help you work out an agreement. Mediators are trained to help balance bargaining power, keep communications on point and useful, prevent bullying or abuse in the negotiation, and help the parties find common ground and eventual agreement. Mediation is usually very effective.

Many attorneys claim to mediate, but you should look for a family law specialist who is primarily a mediator, someone who does very little or no litigation. There are also some excellent non-attorney mediators but in general these are best used when the issues of your case are limited to personal discord and parenting. If your case involves money, property or support issues, you’d be better off with an attorney mediator who can bring knowledge of state law and local judges into the discussion. Ask if they do that, because many mediators will not bring in legal information even if they could, preferring each party to have separate counsel, something that greatly increases your cost.

Collaborative law. A collaborative law attorney represents you and speaks for you, but they enter into a written agreement with the other side not to go to court to solve problems. Instead, they concentrate on negotiation and mediation. Depending on your case, they might form a team with an accountant, therapist, child specialist, or financial planner. This approach only works if the party and attorney on the other side are willing to enter into this arrangement. Collaborative divorce has a good track record and even with all the professional services it will still cost less than a court battle. This is a new but rapidly growing subspecialty, so there may not be any collaborative lawyers near you. Go on the Internet and search “collaborative law” plus the name of your state or city, or call the local bar or other attorneys and ask if they know of any collaborative divorce lawyers near you. When you talk to one, find out how many other such cases they have conducted.

My life was going in the wrong direction. My girlfriend, the mother of my son, left me because of my gambling habit. I lost my job as a manager of a furniture store because I was irresponsible. I turned to alcohol and drugs, which just got me into more trouble - I spent two months in jail because of a

marijuana conviction. I had to beg my parents for help, and had to move into their basement while working odd jobs to support myself and my child.

It wasn’t always like this. My life was once full of potential. I graduated at the top of my class in high school, and finished college with a 3.85 GPA where I was a DJ for two radio shows. I found the love of my life there, and soon we had a son and moved in together.

I got a good paying job right away running a furniture warehouse. After a year, I was promoted and I felt like I could do nothing wrong. Suddenly, everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Next thing I knew, I was 28 years old with a criminal record, living with my parents and paying child support. I needed something to help turn my life around, and I needed it quick.

My probation officer suggested that maybe I try religion. I was never very spiritual, but I figured this might be the time to introduce it into my life. So I downloaded a spiritual self help audio book online, and listened to it twice a day.

I needed a miracle, and the audio book provided me with one. I slowly began to emerge from the holes that I had dug myself into over the past few years. With my new faith, I was able to clear the negativity from my life and become a better person. It has motivated me to always strive for more in life, and although I still have a ways to go, my audio book has provided me with a clear spiritual path to follow!

Many Americans run into financial problems that wreck their credit scores and make it hard to secure loans for new cars, homes, and other important investments. But given enough time and fiscal restraint, you’ll be able to rebuild your credit and get the new car or home of your dreams. To get you started, here are 8 self help credit repair tips:

    1. Pay your bills on time. Make timely payments on credit cards and installment loans. This is an important self help credit repair tip because a solid payment history will help improve your FICO credit score. If you can’t make a payment, contact your creditors or see a legitimate credit counselor.

    2. Take out low credit score loans when buying cars. Why are low credit score loans important? In general, having installment loans or credit cards (and paying them off) will boost your FICO credit score. That’s because you’ve proven you can handle credit. Establishing a good payment history on low credit score loans opens the door for better financing.

    3. Don’t transfer balances. Keep balances low on credit cards and other revolving credit. Pay off debt rather than transferring balances.

    4. Build credit with a co-signer. Get help from someone with good credit. Then create a debt and immediately pay it off in full. Repeat until you no longer need the co-signer. Just remember, the co-signer’s credit suffers if you default.

    5. Rate shop for loans in a focused timeframe. A FICO credit score distinguishes between a search for a single loan and a search for many new credit lines. So if you’re shopping around for the best car loan, do it quickly and do it all at one time.

    6. Check your credit report. Many people mistakenly believe requesting their credit report negatively impacts their FICO credit score. Order your credit report directly from the credit reporting agency or through an organization authorized to provide credit reports to consumers. The three major credit bureaus are Equifax, Experian and Trans Union.

    7. Re-establish credit with a secured card. Avoid high-interest credit cards, and get a secured card instead. You set a predetermined sum from your bank account, which becomes your credit line.

    8. Stay on track for 7 years. Recent financial information is factored into credit scores more heavily than old data. Most negative financial information—such as late payments—are removed from your credit report after 7 years. (Note: bankruptcy information remains for 10 years.)

Rebuild your credit today. Raise your FICO credit score by paying bills on-time, every time. In addition, financing a new car purchase is a great way to re-establish credit.

Many times people that have a panic disorder do not want to be treated with medication. They do not want to be placed on a pill everyday to keep them from having a panic attack. This is not unusual for anyone to do. They will not want to be controlled by any form of medication for the problem that they are going through.

There are different ways to use self-help when you are going through the problems that a panic disorder can bring to you. Having the right state of mind to help you concentrate on how to feel better is going to be a great relief for many people. There are many self-help methods for panic disorders that are the same for controlling stress and other related emotional problems. There is no reason to be alarmed at this type of situation. You should not have to use a pill or any other type of medication to keep you on the right track.

Using music to help you feel better is something that is going to be a good method. You can listen to your favorite music when you are feeling down or like you are going to have a panic attack. This can be any form of music that mellows you out. You want to feel good about yourself and get your thoughts and emotions under control before you lose it all together.

Another good idea is to take a walk or exercise. Burn out your frustrations and stress through this type of release. Getting a good workout is going to be essential to anyone that is looking to keep their mind clear and to get them straightened out so that they can let go of the fear of having a panic attack over something that is working on their mind and body. You can do this anytime of the day or night if you are feeling as if you are about to have an attack.

Writing your feelings out on paper is another good way to get out your anxiety at the time. You can write down exactly how you are feeling so that you are feeling good about yourself. You will find that once you write down your feelings you will be able to release your anger and get yourself back on track. Think about the fact that you can write out your anger instead of yelling it aloud or keeping it bottled out.

Yelling is something that you can do if you are able to. You must make sure that you are away from others. You do not want to yell in front of others because they may in fact think that you are having a breakdown. You want to walk away from anyone and find as private area so that you are able to do your yelling and feel good the situation that you are in.

There is always something that you can do to make you feel good about yourself. You want to let the anger and the stress out so that you are not keeping it inside you and this will only make you feel worse. A panic disorder is going to affect a person all of the time. There will be times when you are not able to let the panic go and you will have to do whatever it takes to bring yourself to a calm and relaxed state of mind.

If you’re a business professional and you’re ready to try something new, think about writing a business book. Writing a book about your expertise in a specific industry or even business in general is an excellent way to expand your business and branch out into speaking and consulting. It lets you try something new, but you don’t have to completely abandon the field you’re in.

    The Booming How-To Market

How-to books are very popular—there’s always one or two on the bestseller list—and many people like reading books to learn more about their own industry, learn about industries that are new to them, find ways to advance their careers, and figure out how to deal with difficult business situations, like having a boss or a co-worker that they don’t get along with. Some people read nothing but how-to and self-help books. With thousands of topics to write about and a growing interest in self-improvement, your possibilities are endless!

Modern Printing Technology Makes Publishing Easy

In the past, publishing your own business book was expensive and time consuming because getting book ready to print and finding a reliable, inexpensive printer required lots of research and work. Plus, self-publishers had to guess how many copies they were going to need.

But these days you can offer print-on-demand copies of your book, which means the book isn’t printed until someone buys it. Or you can offer your business book in a downloadable PDF format so that printing costs are avoided altogether and people can start reading your book immediately after buying it.

    Get Industry-Specific

If you have years of experience in one particular industry, then you can write a business book that describes the steps that you took to be successful in that industry and the mistakes you learned from along the way. You can help people who are just starting out to overcome the learning curve, and learn how to follow your steps themselves so that they can achieve the same kind of success that you did.

Plus, many companies looking for ways to save money use well-written industry-specific business books as training materials. You could even offer to customize certain parts of your business book to meet the specific needs of a company if they buy a set number of books.

Writing a Book is Easier Than You Think

The writing task is often overwhelming to people, but you can start small. Books don’t have to be extremely long to be popular. You can write a short, fifty- to 100-page e-book about some aspect of business that you have a lot of experience in and test the market by selling it directly on the web. You can also use an e-book format to write business books for specific businesses, like training manuals or other how-to books or guides.

    What Are You Waiting For?

Writing a book not only allows you to try something new, but if you are creative in how you write the book and how you market the book, the venture can be very profitable. If you’re ready to move on and try a different career but you don’t want to start over in a new industry, take the experience and credentials that you have and try writing about that industry instead of just participating in it. You will get a chance to branch out, do something different, and still use all the years of experience that you have built up.

Self Improvement seminars are a common phenomenon today. Corporate houses usually organize such seminars and lectures to help motivate their employees at least once or twice in a year. There are still others who take the initiative to enroll in self improvement work shops without being told to do so. When you want to improve your performance levels, there is no harm that a self help seminar could to you.

Usually every body loves to see an improvement in the self, and hence the popularity of such seminars is on the rise. It is human nature to constantly be in search of ways and methods to improve self efficiency. And who doesn’t know that at times a college degree is not all that can help you in the work place? Confidence and a code of conduct go a long way into making you more successful as a worker.

Whatever the genre is that you want to get help with; you can no doubt find the right class or workshop/seminar for it. Be it improving your swimming skills or improving your photography skills, you could get help with it. Here is what you can expect to find in a self help seminar, whatever the department or division:

    1. Contracting with the self:

You may wish to recognize some of the issues that get in the way of your success, and rightly so. You need to ask your self what it is that is the cause of the problem. For instance if you are regularly late to the office, maybe your late night TV goes for a little too much time, and you now know what you need to work on. Try and use the reward and punishment incentive system to get out of this cycle. Tell yourself that you will be rewarded by going to work on time if you go to bed on time. On the other hand, look at the punishment of staying up too late watching TV. If you keep these dialogues up with your self in your mind, you will definitely achieve success.

    2. Dialogues with other people:

There is more room for misunderstanding when in dialogue with another person than there is in contracting with the self. You need to keep in mind that the dialogue must be fair, the terms need to be crystal clear, the deal should promise a positive outcome, you need to have systematic processes of improvement involved that you can work towards, and you need the person to participate. Putting it all down on paper is not a bad idea ; that way both people involved can see eye to eye on what needs to be achieved.

    3. Shaping:

Shaping is the term given to achieving your goals in a systematic order, one at a time. You cannot go to step ten before you’ve even dealt with step three you know.

    4. Remind yourself regularly.

It is easy to forget all about a self help program with the distractions that the world may throw towards you. Setting up reminders such as notes on the refrigerator or on the work bench is a great idea that could help you stay on track
